A new addition to the workshop, I present the Meddings LF1. Meddings is still in business making machine tools today, the LF1 is a model from the sixties and seventies. This particular one originally saw service with the Southern Electricity Board. It's a light industrial use drill, still going strong nearly fifty years on and maybe I am foolish but it cost near as much as a new Made in China drill.
